Excellent central location
Was a really good location for the centre of Glasgow, 5 minute walk from central station and Buchanan underground. Staff very friendly , especially Steven at breakfast. Breakfast had a good choice of full Scottish, fruit , pastries and plenty of tea and coffee, self served.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, decent size room and excellent location.
Shower took a while to warm up. The only other small issue was that the coffee/hot water machine didn’t really seem to get the water that warm.

New hotel with promise
Staff were excellent, very welcoming & helpful. Food was excellent.
The team were clearly still going through the learning curve on this newly-opened hotel. I have no doubt that they realised their mistakes and have learnt from them, to reduce the chance of issue again. They clearly wanted to do things well. In the middle of Glasgow, this was not a particularly quiet hotel. I presume the windows were not well insulated, as I have stayed in quieter places in the middle of busy cities. I wonder how long the shower area will look good, since the shower screen is not really long enough. I'm small, and used the shower head that keeps the water back the most, but there was still a lot of water that escaped onto the floor. Not everyone will be diligent enough to wipe it up. A couple things from the room point of view, that could be improved at small cost: - There is only one small shelf in the bathroom, which is made less useable as the mirror protrudes over it significantly. Another shelf would be useful, perhaps a corner shelf by the door. - There were small towel hooks on the door, but nothing next to the basin, so you either had to hang the hand towel on the side of the basin (not very successful), or drip across to the door if you hung it there. They were only small hooks, not ideal for the bath towel to hang out to dry, either. A hook by the basin would have been good for the hand towel, and perhaps a towel rail at the end of the shower, or on the back of the door (below the other small ones?) for the larger bath towel.
